Payment Policy

At Aristisan, we want checkout to feel safe and simple. This page explains how we accept and process payments.
Accepted payment methods
We accept the following payment methods at checkout:
- PayPal — pay with your PayPal balance, linked bank account, or any card supported by PayPal.
- Major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, processed securely through PayPal's gateway.
All payments are processed in U.S. dollars (USD). If you are paying with a non-U.S. card or PayPal account, your bank may apply a currency conversion fee.
Why we use PayPal
PayPal is our payment partner because it offers industry-standard fraud protection, buyer protection, and a streamlined checkout. You don't need a PayPal account to pay with a card — simply choose "Pay with debit or credit card" on the PayPal page after clicking Place Order.
When you are charged
Your card or PayPal account is charged at the moment you place your order. We use this authorization to begin production on your made-to-order item right away.
Secure checkout
We never see or store your full card number. Aristisan does not handle card data directly — your payment information goes only to PayPal's PCI-compliant servers, which use 256-bit SSL encryption.
Order confirmation
After a successful payment, you will receive an email confirmation at the address you provided at checkout. This email is your receipt. If you do not receive it within 30 minutes, please check your spam folder and then contact us at support@aristisan.com.
Sales tax
Sales tax is calculated and added at checkout for orders shipped to states where Aristisan has a tax obligation. The tax shown at checkout is an estimate and may be adjusted slightly on the final receipt to reflect your exact shipping address.
Failed or declined payments
If your payment is declined, please verify your billing address, card details, and PayPal balance, then try again. If the issue persists, contact your bank or PayPal directly. We are happy to hold your cart while you sort it out — just email us.
Cancellations
You can cancel your order for a full refund within 2 hours of placing it, before we send it to production. After that window, please see our refund and returns policy.
